Plainfield, located just west of Indianapolis off of I70, is part of Hendricks County, and one of the fastest growing cities in the state.  Plainfield has experienced tremendous growth over the past 20 years, and has anything you would need including restaurants, parks, schools, and entertainment.    

Plainfield is known for the Plainfield Recreation and Aquatic Center.  One of the largest water parks in the Indianapolis area and comparable to the water park in Carmel.  

Hummel Park is another main attraction near downtown Plainfield and is almost 205 acres in size.  Plainfield also has one of the largest trail systems in the state.  

Homes in the Plainfield area are reasonably priced, with homes available from $50k up to nicer homes of $300k-$400k.
